Giving Back & Acts OF Kindness | Blogmas Day 4

It’s the season of giving and many families are trying to figure out creative ways to give back to their community during this time. To be honest, I like to switch things up and support organizations that don’t have as much attention or donate to causes that may not be so popular. However, there are other ways we can give back to the community during this time that can include the entire family. Check out this fun list!

  1. Pay for someone’s meal - This can be done in the drive-through or restaurant.

  2. Foster or ‘Petsit” A Pet - It is during this time many families are traveling and have busy schedules. Helping a family out by boarding their pet for a few days or hours can be a tremendous help.

  3. Babysit for a Neighbor - Again, this time of year is jam-packed with events and babysitters are hard to come by, help a mom friend or dad friend out and keep the kiddos for a couple of hours.

4. Donate Toys - Santa is coming and I’m sure you can use the extra space. Grab the kids and explain the importance of giving back and how donating toys they no longer play with could make another child happy…and Santa too!

5. Help The Elderly - The weather is cold and if not, the stores are jam-packed! Help an elderly neighbor out and do their grocery shopping for them or pay for their groceries, these acts of kindness are sure to make them feel cared for.

These acts of kindness may seem small but they can have a mighty impact.

Tis the season for pure kindness, I hope these are helpful.
