The beginning of the week is when I do my grocery shopping. With a household of seven people, we buy a lot of food WEEKLY and our food bill ranks in pretty high. As moms, I know sometimes we are stumped with what to buy and meal ideas for the week. Many moms have asked, what does my grocery list consist of and also how do I have meal ideas every day. I am ready to dish (no pun intended) on that information now!
First, I want to suggest to you, before you go to the grocery store or make your instacart purchases, it's important that you make it a priority to make a list first. I know it may seem cumbersome however, it's a lifesaver when it's time to execute. When creating your list, you may find it easier to start with meal ideas for the week, then tack on those necessities.
Dinner Meal Plans For The Week
This is to help jump start your shopping list. When you have a plan for dinner/meal options for the week, you know the items that must be on the list to purchase. This takes the guesswork out of going to the supermarket and figuring it out as you parade up and down the aisle. If you can't think of anything check out www.allrecipes.com

Day 2 - Tacos and Fries
Day 3 - Mushroom Saute and Potatoes

Day 5 - Catch All Day
Grocery List Organization
I am not sure if you use a plain sheet of paper or if you use a planner for your grocery list, However, I suggest you organize your list for more clarity to help you as you hit those aisels of food nirvana. My lists are always in alignment with how the store is organized. It helps me think clear and visualize things. Most grocery stores greet you with fresh produce and along the perimeter of the store are those fresh bakery goods cold foods and meats. Check out my list here.
Where Do You Shop?
My grocery shopping is done via Instacart.com I use this service because going to the grocery store with my littles was something that brought me anxiety. What's In My Cart?
Below is what my grocery list for the week. I purchase the items I know we need for the week because it eliminates overspending and it doesn't break the bank. Additionally, it prohibits me from thinking of meal ideas and grabbing miscellaneous items. When I have a list, I typically stick to the plan instead of deviating. When I have a list, I execute more efficiently.
