So, I am 6 months postpartum and let me tell you, it's been a whirlwind (i always say that). I am in the process of starting to feel like my “old self” again. During this time I have tested out many new products and I have a VERY shortlist of products that I would like to share with you because you may find that they are beneficial for you and your kiddos.

GoGoVie Baby Carrier - The GoGoVie Baby carrier is truly the first of its kind. This carrier can be used to carry your baby/toddler (up to 35 lbs) up to 7 positions! This is great news for the mothers that long for baby carriers that can be used while they nurse baby. I was amazed that the product could be used in so many different positions, giving it the versatility that many baby carriers lack. Due to its design, the carrier provides back support that most carriers do not provide. Although for some, the Vest Back may not be aesthetically appealing, for the purpose of providing back support this is the ideal carrier. Additionally, the carrier is equipped with two features that I really loved, the “mom pocket” (as I call it) and the cloth (decorative) cover. The pocket was great for pacifier safe keeping, credit cards and ID, it is also large enough for your phone (you could even roll up a diaper and a small ziploc bag with a couple wipes for a quick store run), this feature is helpful because it allows you to COMPLETELY be HANDS FREE! Fun Fact: This product is invented by an African- American Woman here in the Chicagoland Area.
Digital Thermometer - The Kinsa Quick Care Smart thermometer is the first of its kind. Its a digital thermometer that can be used alone however, there is a free downloadable app that makes this thermometer one that is in a league of its own. The thermometer connects wirelessly via bluetooth to the app and once you navigate to the app and place the thermometer in the desired reading location (under tongue, rectal or underarm), the app immediately begins reading and in seconds announces “reading complete!” It is at this time the reading is automatically saved into the app and you have the ability to add profiles to associate the reading with specific kids (or adults). This helps mamas stay organized and give you the ability to give doctors an accurate report when asked questions about your child's symptoms. Along with the temperature reading, you have the option of adding symptoms and medication given. I have used this many times over and it was very helpful when speaking to the pediatrician about the kids symptoms and temp readings (and times). The app also provides you with advice and tips to help symptoms. I recommend this thermometer, especially for the mom that has more than one kid because most times when one kid is sick all are sick and it's helpful to have a device like Kinsa Smart thermometer to help you keep a record of your children's illnesses and symptoms.
HaaKaa Breast Pump - Designed in New Zealand The Haakaa Silicone Breast Pump is the perfect pump for the mom that is on the go and needs to pump. The pump is made of a food grade silicone that is BPA, PVC and Phthalate free . This pump is practically hands free and requires no cords or charging or extra pieces. The pump is designed to allow gravity to do its thing and allow the milk to flow due to the suction of the pump to your breast. This pump can easily be placed in your purse and is perfect for traveling and easy to clean!
Sakura Scout Baby Carrier - The Sakura Scout Baby Carrier is designed for the simplistic
mama. This is for the mom that desires a baby carrier that is minimalistic and free of multiple straps and features. The Sakura Scout baby carrier can be carried forward facing or on your back from 7-45lbs with only two straps that secure the baby in position. This carrier is made and manufactured in the US and offers an abundant amount of colors. Check out their site to check out two other baby carrier products they have, the Scout is the one I have tried.
