Saturday I hosted a playdate that was held at night because we watched, Marvel Studios: Ant Man and The Wasp. This movie had so many well seasoned actors like Michael Douglas and Laurence Fishburne and with, this I was inspired to recreate a movie date that was reminiscent of the past. The movie was displayed outdoors and the kiddos (and adults) enjoyed a menu of comfort and warmth. Hot Chocolate (with marshmallows), Chilli, Freshly popped popcorn, movie theater candy favorites and hot dogs. Everyone snuggled with their warm foods and a blanket and relished in the action! Let's be honest Paul Rudd is easy on the eyes and of course your can't beat seeing Michelle Pfeiffer either!
Synopsis: “From the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes Ant-Man and The Wasp. Reeling from the aftermath of Captain America: Civil War, Scott Lang is enlisted by Dr. Hank Pym for an urgent new mission.(Marvel Studios)” You can just imagine the drama that happens after that. Ant Man and the Wasp rally together and discover many unknowns about the past. This movie was action packed and had the kids shouting and on the edge of their seats!
Here Is what hosting an outdoor movie night showing a Marvel movie on a midwest fall night taught me
Where there is Marvel there is warmth - Although it was a pretty brisk night the action and excitement didn't deter the kids and adults from enjoying the movie
Relish in Adventure - This was my first time watching a movie outdoor (since the drive in when I was a young girl) during a brisk night and it was an adventure! It actually so fun my husband stayed outside a little longer and skimmed through a couple other Marvel Movies to refresh his memory.
Laughter doesn’t know any temperature - The movie had an appearance by rapper T.I and he brought a fun comedic flare to the film. The laughter kept us warm. There is nothing like good ol’ laughter!
No matter how small you may feel you have power within you - Although Ant Man shrinks smaller than an ant, we know he is powerful and strong. Don’t allow people's perception of you or your strength get you down. You know who you are. Let it shine!
The movie is available on Digital and Movies Anywhere now and Blu-ray October 16. This movie is out just in time for movie nights with the family as the fall weather has settled in.
